Our Process

What to Expect

I want to move forward, what next?

First and foremost, thank you for choosing Economy Fence Center (EFC) and trusting us with your fence project. We are committed to getting the job done correctly, in a timely manner and to your satisfaction. Below is a list of steps necessary in having your new fence project completed and what to expect along the way:

Step 1 — Paperwork Process
  • Property Owner / Agent of Property Owner to Sign the Contract (1st page) and the Contract Terms (2nd page)
  • Return Signed Contract & 50% deposit to EFC (3 options):
    1. Mail – Deposit check & Signed documents to 11709 Cyrus Way – Mukilteo, WA 98275
    2. Email – Signed documents to your sales person (on contract) & call in deposit by Visa or MasterCard (all Visa/MC payments subject to 2% transaction fees) (866) 257-0020
    3. Drop Off at your local Economy Fence Center Location
  • Please allow 3 business days to process your paperwork and assign your project to the appropriate branch.
Step 2 — Installation Process
  • Your local Installation Coordinator will contact you to discuss scheduling within 72 hours of receiving your project documents from our accounting department
  • EFC will call for Major Utility locates using the “811 Call Before You Dig” program
  • Customers to receive a reminder call from our installation department the day before we begin work
  • Excavated soil from new post holes will be spread out along the fence lines (unless other arrangements made)
  • With the exception of Corner & Gate posts, all other fence posts to be cut off as-close-as-possible to the ground & the concrete plugs to remain (unless other arrangements made)

PLEASE NOTE – Economy Fence Center has multiple locations throughout Western Washington to serve you. When you call our main office please provide the name of your Installation Coordinator or Sales Person to assist our receptionist in routing you to the appropriate person.

Step 3 — Customer Preparation for New Fence
  • Property Owner to identify and mark the exact location of the new fence
  • Property Owner to identify and mark all sprinkler lines and private utilities of any type not marked by “811 Call before You Dig” program
  • Property Owner to identify, cover, move or protect any items of value near or attached to the existing fence
  • Property Owner to clear fence lines of all obstructions & debris within 24” of fence line and a minimum of 24” above the final fence height (unless other arrangements made)
  • Property Owner to advise Neighbor(s) of pending fence installation as well as the need to follow above procedure to protect items of value
  • Please remove pet messes prior to starting fence construction
Step 4 — Project Completion / Follow-Up Survey
  • You will receive a follow-up call from our Installation Coordinator making sure you are 100% satisfied
  • Final invoice (including change orders, if any) will be mailed or emailed to you requesting final payment
  • Following your final payment, please give us a review. Positive reviews from happy customers like you, help other customers feel confident about choosing Economy Fence Center. We will make this super easy with a link sent directly to you. Thank you in advance.

I looked them all over and your team did a STELLAR job! The hardware upgrades look much sturdier, and they used a steel pole inside of the post on the unit near D building to ensure a durable post.
